It rained pretty much two days straight as we made good progress through the Yukon and northern BC. Just arrived in Fort St. John, a town of about 18,000 people. Just about 50 miles of the Alaskan Highway left. We'll knock that off this evening. Should be in Montana in a couple of days.
Last year we somehow missed seeing Muncho Lake. Must have been in the clouds or something. Wow, what a beautiful area. Plus we saw lots of wildlife. Lots of buffalo, caribou, a cow moose and calf, bull elk, and a wolf. Got a decent picture of the wolf. Here it is unedited:
